Baby Sister's room coming along!

I will keep this short because I am really tired and feeling nauseous.  Got to love how miserable the end of pregnancy is (I am 34 1/2 weeks)!  I guess it is God's way of making me a little less fearful of labor, because I know in the next month I will get to the point where I just want her out and for my hormones to get back to a normal place.

Anyway, here are a few of the latest things:

1. We decided on a name!!!  Sorry, can't tell you because we are keeping it secret until she is born.  However, I am excited that we finally decided.  I even went so far as to start embroidering a onsie with the name.  I guess if we change our minds I can find someone on craigslist with the same name to sell it to?!

2. PUPPPs...have you heard of it?  Well, it is my latest (very rare) joy of pregnancy.  It is basically a VERY itchy rash that only 1% of pregnant women get and usually those carrying twins or in their 1st pregnancy.  I am "special".  The good news, however; is that I know people have been praying and I seriously think God has taken away some of the itchiness in the last 2 days.  This is basically a miracle b/c it is not supposed to get better or go away until after the baby is born.  Thank you Jesus!

3.  The room!!!!  Two amazingly talented and amazing "in general" students we work with are helping paint the baby's room.  Chris and I did the base coat (the green) and then I bought paint and gave them freedom to do whatever.  I did ask for a large tree, but said it could be simple if they wanted.  Well, check out how awesome this looks so far!!! I love it!  I feel bad b/c it is taking them so long, but they say it is "therapeutic"  so really they should be thanking me (just kidding).

4.  Quilt:  done!!!!  I guess I can teach myself to sew after-all.  I am hoping this week to sew some curtains to match and get them up.

5.  Nesting:  Chris is hoping to find time to move the big boy bed into Logan's room and we can move the furniture into baby's room (changing table, which I modge podged and will show pictures soon; a dresser; and the cradle).  Can you tell that I am nesting?  Since Logan came 2 weeks from NOW (ahhhhhh) I am starting to panic slightly.  I just don't feel prepared.  So, I am fine if she wants to wait until I am 38 weeks or maybe even 39 (although I'll get back to you about that in a few weeks).  I am actually hoping she'll come on Feb. 21 or 22 b/c the 21st is my grandma's birthday and the 22nd is my dad's birthday...although maybe she'll take her time and come at 41 weeks?!  No knowing!

Okay, enough rambling!  Post more pics as the room progresses!

SO adorable! I love the room and quilt! I'm excited that she has a name now, even if we don't know what it is yet. It is fun for you and Chris to connect with her that way, I'm sure!
