Logan has taken to his "big brother" role very well! While my parents were visiting this week, he transitioned into his big boy bed without any problems or getting out in the middle of the night! We are praying that potty training soon will be as easy (chuckle chuckle).
It was great to get a picture with my daughter, mother, and grandmother! I never knew my great grandparents so this is especially special!
And finally here is the short version of her birth:
Not counting the contractions I had all night, labor (with strong contractions) was about 7 1/2 hours with about 5 minutes of pushing (making it about 1/4 of what it was with Logan's 28 hours and 2 1/2 hours of pushing). We had a few scares b/c when they started me on pitocin her heart rate dropped due to the intensity of the contractions and the cord that was wrapped around her belly (an oxygen mask, 5 nurses running in to reposition me, and stopping the pitocin got it back to normal), and when she was born her shoulders got stuck for a min so they thought her clavicle was broken (turns out she is fine but was sore for a few days), and she was blue and not crying at first until they got the umbilical cord cut off around her. Now, though she is fine. A week later and she surpassed her birth weight (8 lbs. 14 oz now) and is healthy as can be! Praise the Lord!
We are doing fine, just really tired as we get adjusted to her feeding schedule. Also dealing with the normal post labor stuff and crazy hormones. Luckily I do remember that "eventually" some normalcy returns and that God's grace is sufficient! Prayers are welcomed always!

Wow it is encouraging to hear the second labor/delivery was easier. Wesley was 27 hr labor and 3 hours pushing- you give me hope! I love seeing pics of her. You look great! Every 2-3 hours is brutal- hang in there she will be smiling in no time!
