I can't believe Rachel is 3 weeks old today! I keep trying to do mini photo shoots with her and Logan. I got one picture with her eyes open when they aren't crossed, and here it is. This is her St. Patrick's day outfit, my lady in green (and pink of course).
I am going to admit that the lack of sleep is taking its toll. There have been a few nights when I get up to feed Rachel and am up for 2 1/2 hours b/c she is gassy and won't go back to sleep (making my combined sleep from 11pm-7am totaling 3 hours sometimes). As long as I hold her and help massage her stomach, she doesn't cry...but when I put her down she starts. She is also going through a growth spurt and is hungry every 1 1/2 hours (besides the few hours she'll nap during the DAY...ha, ha, go figure!).
The one thing I am realizing more and more is my need for God's grace and to depend on Him for strength and energy, and PATIENCE. That seems to be the first thing that goes out the window when I am tired. My biggest prayer right now is that I would really walk in the power of the Holy Spirit and not rely on my own strength (b/c I don't have any!).

I'm praying for you, girl! Parenting two has definitely gotta be entirely different from mama of one! Hope she improves soon with longer stretches for you! Continue to rely on God's strength! Love ya!
I pray for patience every single night and my littlest is now six months (although it seems that I need more patience with my two year old!) It will get better though. You will eventually get more sleep and God will get you through this stage. Love Rhiannon
